When my children were babies, I never believed that toxic chemicals in baby shampoo. I thought these companies had already been married for decades and will be protected. Well, I got a shock when I discovered that not only uncertain baby shampoo, but it was baby bath, baby lotion and baby powder. Now, my mind was reeling – what in my shampoo and shower gel? What about all the care of other family and me on a daily basis? If these words and unpronounceable on my bottle of lotion representatives dangerous chemicals? I found this list of names of the most common and most dangerous chemicals, and began to compare the names on the list of ingredients on my bottle of lotion, shampoo and conditioner, soap and shaving cream, toothpaste and mouthwash. Talk about a wake! I was on my body and share more than 160 toxic chemicals a day just in personal care products. The Environmental Working Group has published a study in 2004 to a single group of people: newborns. The cord blood of 10 babies born in August and September 2004, hospitals in the United States, collected This study showed 287 chemicals in the group: pesticides, consumer product ingredients and wastes from burning coal , gasoline and garbage. ”The 287 chemicals we detected in umbilical cord blood, we know that 180 cause cancer in humans or animals, 217 are toxic to the brain and nervous system, and birth defects of 208 or abnormal development of animal testing. The dangers of pre-or postnatal exposure to this complex mixture of carcinogens, toxins and neurotoxins have been studied before development. “http://archive. EEC. org/reports/bodyburden2/execsumm. php An unborn embryo, or a child is much more sensitive to damage caused by toxins than an adult. Their bodies are developing rapidly and their defense is incomplete, and they are not able to withstand the assault of these chemicals. Read the full study. Another study by the EEC, 16 chemicals from four chemical families found in the bodies of 20 American teen girls. The teenagers were found on an average of nearly 17 personal care products a day – the average adult female consumes about 12 adolescents with a maximum of 17 products are exposed daily by approximately 174 unique cosmetic ingredients. Read the study. Young people are also developing rapidly, and are particularly sensitive to hormone disrupting properties of these chemicals. So what are these chemicals and the damage they actually do? Propylene glycol (PG) and butylene glycol – found in antifreeze and your deodorant. PG penetrates the skin and weakens the structure and cellular proteins. It is strong enough to remove barnacles from boats! The EPA considers PG so toxic that workers must wear protective clothing and dispose of PG by burying in the ground. PG penetrates the skin so quickly, the EPA warns against contact with the brain to prevent the liver, kidneys and abnormalities, but it is not even a warning label on products such as joysticks deodorants, where the concentration is higher than in most industrial applications. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulphate (SLES) – in the garage floor cleaners and engine degreasers used – and your baby in the bath foam products. Animals exposed to SLS eye damage, depression, shortness of breath, diarrhea, severe skin irritation and even death. eyes of young people do not develop properly if exposed to SLS. It can damage the immune system of the skin and can be converted into a powerful class of carcinogens. Your body may retain the SLS for up to five days and the residues in the heart, liver, lungs and brain. DEA (diethanolamine). MEA (Monoethanolaniine) & TEA (triethanolamine) – hormone-disrupting chemicals to form carcinogenic nitrates. Restricted in Europe due to carcinogenic effects, but they are still used in places exposed Americans may be 10-20 times per day with shampoos, shaving creams and bubble baths. Dr. Samuel Epstein (Professor of Environmental Health at the University of Illinois) says that repeated applications of DEA-based detergents to a significant increase in liver and kidney cancer. The PDA John Bailey said: “The risk is for children has increased dramatically.” Sodium – This is found in drain cleaners, caustic soda and is now in our toothpaste! I myself in this all-natural shaving cream. Triclosan – A synthesis “antibacterial” with a chemical structure similar to Agent Orange! It is widely used in soaps, toothpastes and deodorants, has been detected in breast milk, and used a recent study has shown that it interferes with testosterone activity in cells. The toxic effects measured in parts per billion: That’s just a drop in 300 Olympic swimming pools! DMDM and Urea (imidazolidinyl) – two of many who are often formaldehyde, a preservative and found in baby bath soap, nail polish, eyelash adhesive and hair dyes. They have a long list of health problems, while including the immune system toxicity, respiratory irritation and cancer, people, and they can cause joint pain, skin reactions, allergies, depression, headaches , chest pains, ear infections, chronic fatigue, dizziness, and loss of sleep. polyethylene glycol (PEG) – Oil ingredient that reduces moisture carcinogenic own skin. Improves the appearance of aging and makes you vulnerable to bacteria. It is also used in spray on oven cleaners and dissolve cleaning agents, oil and grease. Parabens – (Parabens, ethyl, propyl, butyl, isobutyl) – appears in a variety of toiletries. One study found that butyl paraben damaged sperm formation pause in the testes of mice, and a parent, Sodium Methylparaben, is banned in cosmetics by the EU Parabens in the body in the p-hydroxybenzoic acid, the estrogenic activity in the cell of a human breast cancer cultures. Alcohol, Isopropyl (SD-40) – from a derivative of petroleum, IT and antifreeze in the shellac, and personal care products. A dry, irritating solvent that strips skin and immune barrier, making them susceptible to bacteria and viruses. Promotes brown spots and premature aging. Fatal ingested dose is one ounce or less. Mineral oil – a petroleum derivative that covers the skin like plastic wrap, clogging the pores. It attacks the skin’s ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other diseases. Slows down skin function and cell development, leading to premature aging. Baby oil is 100% mineral oil! FD & C Color Pigments – synthetic dyes from coal tar are carcinogenic to humans as active ingredients in shampoos and creams, anti-itch known uses. dyes coal tar, as FD & C Blue 1 are used in toothpastes, and FD & C Green 3, are used in mouthwashes, may mask the odor – the collective term “fragrance” that phthalates act as endocrine disrupters and obesity and can cause damage to reproduction and development. It can contain up to four thousand ingredients (including animal urine), many toxic or carcinogenic. Causes headaches, dizziness, allergic rashes, skin discoloration, violent coughing, vomiting and skin irritations. Perfume also affect the nervous system, changes in behavior to depression, hyperactivity, irritability, excessive demands, and others. Thus, in our baby shampoo and bubble bath our babies and young children are small, so they are soaking, fragrance, FD & C colors urea, parabens, sodium hydroxide, imidazolidinyl, are , among others. As mentioned above, some of these problems with the reproductive system, and our children to this session for 10-15 minutes to play in their pool! This is not an exhaustive list. You stopped reading would long ago is simply too overwhelming. I hope this report inspires you to do your own investigation and, as I have done a thorough cleaning of the bathroom cabinet.
